- Todd BThe folks that run this hostel went above and beyond in every aspect. They reserved two lower bunks for us (we are older), allowed us to air dry our clothes in their yard, stored our bag for a few days and were so kind. The place was clean, quiet, had a washer, dryer, and refrigerator. The beds had blankets, a pillow, and sheets, electrical outlet and light. Two unisex bathrooms with an excellent shower with a lot of pressure and hot water. It is located a block from the center of town and there is a small grocery store a couple doors down. A wonderful stay! I would highly recommend staying here.
- Juliane KAbsolutely lovely place, total recommend. I stayed for one week to do some work from my computer and enjoy the town and I had a great time. The place is perfectly located, calm and green but with the center of the town with many nice cafés and tavernas at a 4min walking distance and many great natural sites around. The house was beautifully restored by the family recently, furnishing and style is very charming and has the typical „galician“ cottage touch, everything is newly renovated though and very clean. The family is very sweet and welcoming, will help with anything needed and is always up for a chat, but in the same time values privacy at all times. My favorite place in Caldas, would come back any time !
- Amber SWhat a place 😍 and sometimes not the place itself makes it wonderful, but the people who are looking after the place. If you are doing the camino, recommend to spend a night here.
